Blenheim History Boards

One of the things I love about Blenheim is the story boards on most street corners. 

They have a history of that spot with historic photographs of what was formerly there.

In some cases, buildings that had burnt down have been replaced. 

Its not a huge area, so when your there take a nice walk in the sun and be sure to look for and read the history of Blenheim.  

It wasn't always grapes and hops. In the 1950's it was butter factories, sawmills, flourmill, flax-mill, brewery, fertilizer factory, tallow-works, and seed-cleaning works.

Currently a population of around 24,000 with another 5000 in the wider area.

• Ballinger Park

All close to the CBD and yes, there are more.
